central locationhelpful informationhot roommosquito problem
The location was very central. I could walk to many sights , and there were many good restaurants nearby. The building had beautiful decor. Nathalie was very pleasant , and she provided helpful information about transport options to the hotel.
The room was way too hot. I noticed there was no proper ventilation system. Opening the window meant mosquitoes got in , and there was lots of noise at night.

charming stay with lovely canal views

wonderful servicecanal viewcentral locationsteep staircase
The staff offered wonderful service. i appreciated the canal views. The room overlooked the water. the location was convenient to all the main attractions. i also liked that i could leave my bags before check-in and after check-out.
the staircase was steep and difficult to navigate with luggage. there was no elevator available. this could pose a challenge with mobility issues or heavy bags.

underwhelming stay

cramped roomconstant noise
The room was quite cramped , something the photos cleverly concealed. the toilet being in the shower was a unique design choice , i guess , but not particularly practical. the noise from the hallway was also pretty constant . It seemed like every footstep echoed right into the room.
